| Bio: | I came here on the recommendations of lots of Anne Rice fans, and I just met another load of David Lynch, Twin Peaks, and all kinds of other fandoms I'm into. I have an MSN website. But since nobody else has MSN, I seem to be talking about everything in here. In real life, I am a therapist. I get to drive to the crummiest parts of town to see the worst-behaved children and their mostly inadequate parents. But most of the kids love me, so it's worth it. (Wow--that's old from 2005; I'll update when I get a new job!) I have become a moderator for the message board over at http://www.dugpa.com/forum/, a highly thought of Lynch site. It has just taken off like wildfire and we've attracted some fairly famous people. There are some great discussions and absolutely wonderful graphics posted in there. And we do have a chat room that you don't have to register to go to. It's so exciting, I rarely go to any other Peaks sites! You can also see me trying to co-administer on http://www.interstate95.com/twinpeaks/. Well, it has been broken since last July. But as of September 13, it was fixed--only I can't get anybody interested in going there. Which is a problem I had anticipated. We need a new angle. We have a chat room, so you can sign up to go there! And I'm a co-maintainer on the davidlynch community in here, so that's a lot of work to not get paid for! I'm Annie in all my forums and communities, and if you are into that, you know that has a special meaning. I am sick of strangers adding me as a friend and not telling me what we have in common, so I made my journal "Friends Only" again. Now that LJ has a way to send messages to people, I have asked unwanted persons to leave my journal alone. People I know or have met through my connections with David Lynch can always leave me a message and I might add them. Thanks. | ||
